Who we are
At our ranch, we take great pride in the diverse array of animal breeds we care for, ensuring a vibrant and lively environment. Our collection includes cattle, goats, horses, chickens, guineas, ducks, geese, rabbits, and even dedicated livestock guardian dogs. Each of these breeds contributes to the unique tapestry of life on our ranch, and we are passionate about nurturing their well-being. In the following section, we would like to share a bit more information about our ranch and the wonderful livestock that call it home.
In Beautiful East Texas
The Crystal Livestock Company is a working livestock ranch located in East Texas, about 100 miles southeast of Dallas, Texas. Our ranch sits in the beautiful rolling hills and piney woods of, Larue, Texas. The Caddo Creek Marsh and Sugar Mountain run through the area, which provides a natural habitat for many types of wildlife, flora and fauna.
About our owner
Cliff Bowden, General Managing Partner, is a third generation cattle raiser in Texas. He has been raising livestock all his life, specializing in Wagyu production and management since 2002. Cliff has attended numerous training and development seminars related to the production of quality beef. He is certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture in their Beef Quality Assurance program. Additionally, Cliff teaches Public Administration/Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Dallas. Over the past twenty years, he has authored numerous studies and articles in the field of local government management and has now focused that research expertise on the production of prime beef and Wagyu cattle. Cliff's unique approach to Wagyu production includes a system that he has developed through years of research and personal experience. He will assist you with what you need to know to do the same for your cattle operation and your goals related to the production of prime beef.

At Crystal Livestock Company, located in Larue, Texas, we offer an extensive selection of livestock breeds tailored to your needs, whether you're raising animals for food, trade, or breeding. Our inventory features a dynamic assortment of creatures, including chickens, goats, rabbits, and horses. We proudly offer Wagyu cattle for sale and are specialists in the breeding of Nubian goats. Enhance the size and diversity of your farm's herds and flocks with our robust and healthy animals. With years of experience in breeding and raising a wide range of livestock, our farm is home to Wagyu cattle, Nubian goats, Marans chickens, Old English game chickens, mini Rex rabbits, geese, ducks, guineas, and horses.
Great Pyrenees
We have a litter of Great Pyrenees puppies that are available. They are currently weaning and eating solid food. They are ready to begin training for their new jobs. Call or email for more information.
Wagyu Cattle
We have a variety of Wagyu cattle for sale. We have registered and commercial bulls, cows, heifers, steers, and calves from which to choose.
Anatolian Shepherds
There are many breeds of dog suitable to guarding herds and flocks, but we specialize in the Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd breeds. These dogs are powerful, large, and intimidating to predators, and do a wonderful job of protecting their charges.
Pigs
Most of the time, we have a variety of pigs for sale. Call or email for current market prices and availability.
Poultry
We have roosters, hens, pullets, cockerels, and baby chicks currently for sale. We have a good variety of ages and colors from which to choose. Call or email for more information.

It is important to protect this investment, and at Crystal Livestock Company, we find that the most effective and rewarding form of herd protection is a dedicated, hard-working guardian dog.
